Bio Code Usage Example 2: "Sesame Oil Manufacturing Factory"

Install a coagulation sedimentation tank in the front section and an activated carbon adsorption tower in the rear section.

This factory has newly installed wastewater treatment facilities to comply with the total volume regulation of Mikawa Bay. In particular, since COD, n-hex, and T-P levels are high and biological treatment alone is challenging, a coagulation sedimentation system is set up in the front stage and an activated carbon adsorption tower in the rear stage. Due to significant fluctuations in load caused by variations in production volume, it is not possible to rely solely on activated sludge, so bio-codes are used in conjunction with activated sludge. Deodorization device activated carbon adsorption tower

In addition to our unique oxidizing catalyst type "NT Hyper," we also offer various forms of activated carbon, including pellets, powders, honeycombs, and fibers.

In recent years, regulations regarding odors have been increasing among environmental issues, and our activated carbon adsorption tower is the type of equipment most widely used for the removal of substances commonly referred to as unpleasant odors. - The device contains activated carbon inside, and it is a system that adsorbs odorous gases onto the activated carbon. - Utilizing the adsorption capacity of activated carbon, it has recently been used not only for the eight major odorous substances in sewage treatment but also for gases with small particles, such as incense. We always consider the maximum removal efficiency and minimum cost based on the location of odor gas generation, treatment airflow, and concentration, and we propose a type of deodorization equipment tailored to our customers' needs.

[Construction Example] Activated Carbon Adsorption Tower (VOC Adsorption Tower)

Emission to the atmosphere below 5 ppb! A case study of selecting adsorbents according to gas conditions and designing to fit customer layouts.

We would like to introduce a case study of the "Activated Carbon Adsorption Tower (VOC Adsorption Tower)" implemented at a chemical plant to adsorb dilute gases generated within the factory and reduce their emission into the atmosphere. Although the gases are dilute and in trace amounts, they are highly toxic, prompting the consideration of implementation for the safety of the working environment and reduction of environmental impact. Therefore, we selected adsorbents based on the gas conditions and designed the system to fit the customer's layout. Additionally, we calculated the timing for adsorbent replacement, making it easier for the customer to plan. After implementation, emissions into the atmosphere were reduced to below 5 ppb, achieving a reduction in environmental impact and ensuring safety in the working environment. 【Case Overview】 ■ Unit Composition: Unit including SUS tank, piping, and framework ■ Industry Implemented: Chemical Plant ■ Challenges: Safety of the working environment and reduction of environmental impact ■ Effect: Emissions into the atmosphere reduced to below 5 ppb ■ Response Details: - Selection of adsorbents based on gas conditions and design tailored to customer layout - Calculation of adsorbent replacement timing *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
